Why does Silent Lab exist?
Because we believed the existing options didn't treat people with enough dignity. Walking into a clinic, having your name on a record, asking awkward questions of a doctor who knows your family — for many people, those friction points are the reason testing gets delayed for months or never happens at all. We wanted to build something that handled this with the privacy and respect the situation deserves.
Which test should I choose?
If you want to check the most common bacterial STIs without anyone visiting your home, Silent Screen is the right fit. If you want full-spectrum screening — HIV, hepatitis, syphilis, herpes — Complete Panel is more comprehensive. Both are equally private. The difference is whether a brief home visit is acceptable to you. If you're not sure, ask us on WhatsApp — we'll help you decide.
Will the phlebotomist look like a medical visitor?
No. Our phlebotomists arrive in plain clothing with a discreet bag — no scrubs, no medical signage, no branded equipment. To anyone watching, the visit looks like any other personal appointment. The blood draw itself takes under five minutes.
Will my name be on the lab report?
Your sample is processed under an anonymous Kit ID, not your name. The Silent Lab summary letter that accompanies your report carries only the information you choose to share with us. You can request results without a name attached.
How long do results take?
Typically 4–5 business days from when the lab receives your sample. We share them privately and discreetly, on the channel you prefer.
What if my result is positive?
Most STIs we test for are bacterial and fully curable — usually with a short course of antibiotics. The viral ones (HIV, hepatitis, herpes) are managed with treatment that lets people live normal lives. Your Silent Lab summary letter will explain what your specific result means, what it doesn't mean, and what's next. If follow-up is warranted, we tell you exactly what kind of specialist to see and what to ask.
Why does Complete Panel mention a herpes caveat?
Blood-based herpes testing (HSV-2 IgG) is useful but not definitive — it carries a meaningful false-positive rate, especially in lower-risk populations. We include it because comprehensive screening matters, but we will not let a single antibody result become a diagnosis. If your result is positive, we recommend confirming with a DVL specialist before any treatment decisions, and we will note this clearly in your results.
How does payment work?
The form below is a request, not a payment. After you submit, we contact you privately on WhatsApp to confirm which test fits your situation and share the payment link. Payment is by UPI or card, before the kit dispatches. No payment routes through insurance, so no claim trail is created.
Is the packaging really discreet?
Yes. The outer box is plain corrugated, no medical branding, no logos suggesting what's inside. Couriers transport it like any other parcel. The only Silent Lab marking is a small monogram inside the box, not visible from outside.
Who will know I tested?
Only the people you choose to tell. We never share, copy, or cross-reference your information with insurers, family doctors, employers, or anyone else. The result goes only to the contact you give us.
Is Silent Lab available outside Hyderabad?
Right now, no. We're running a careful pilot in Hyderabad. Pan-India expansion is planned — Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Pune. If you'd like to be notified when we launch in your city, write to us via the form.
Do I need to visit a clinic at any point?
No. Silent Screen requires no human contact at all. Complete Panel involves a brief in-home phlebotomist visit for the blood draw. Neither tier requires a clinic visit at any stage — including the result.
